I will briefly list the 10 contemporary architectures that are absolutely worth seeing!!! In my opinion... how difficult it is to make a selection! Because London is probably one of the capitals with the greatest number of contemporary architectures and selecting only 10 is a sacrilege, but I would like to be brief and give you a very quick overview!!

- the shard which is currently the tallest skyscraper in london is designed by the italian architect Renzo Piano

- City Hall which is the seat of the Mayor of London designed by the English architect Norman Foster and its curious shape is designed to be an eco-sustainable and very efficient building.

- Tate Gallery home to the museum of modern art renovated by the Swiss studio Herzog & de Meuron

- Lloyds’ Building designed in 1986 by the British Richard Rogers and is an example of high-tech architecture in which the services, stairs, elevators and systems are placed outside to have free internal spaces.

- 30 St Mary Axe again designed by Norman Foster given its shape studied to be aerodynamic it is also called the cucumber

- 20 Fenchurch Street by architect Rafael Viñoly more commonly called the Walkie Talkie for its shape.

A must see is the Sky Garden, a public garden on the top floor from which you can admire London for free

- Canary Wharf which is not a particular building but an area in east London that is absolutely worth a visit for the concentration of contemporary architecture

- Coal Drops Yard which is a transformation and redevelopment of two Victorian coal warehouses by the English firm of Thomas Heatherwick.

- Central St Giles is a complex of buildings designed by the Italian Renzo Piano and Fletcher Priest Architects, they are particularly nice for their facades painted with very bright and cheerful colors.

- The Aquatic Center by the Iranian-British architect Zaha Hadid is a building characterized by sinuous and soft shapes that are inspired by the fluid geometries of water.
